Have you ever had firey resentment for someone you didn't even know?

Yes. My dad and I were talking about it the other day. He explained that it's often because we have 'triggers' or memories of resentment that we apply to other people we know. Whenever most people meets someone new they create a sense of identity for that new person and act on it. It explains why two friends will have a different experience of a third person.
