i have gotten REALLY into embossing lately. rubber stamps are kinda lame but when you think outside the obvious about how to use then suddenly you're in a whole new crafting world.



i bought this handmade stamp for embossing on the back of cards and envelope




clear embossing powder. the color of the pigment stamp you use shows through and suddenly all you need are cheap stamp pads and not expensive embossing powders. That being said, i am not considering buying a lot of embossing powders in different colors on ebay. come on- GLITTERRRRRRRR




teeny tiny spring green letraset letters



lindsay got this amazing mason jar stamp which i have been using a lot. I made a little collage with it. I had these great vintage bee pictures from an old childrens's encyclopedia, and i made them so they were trapped inside the jar. it says "what's the buzz?" in rubber stamps. (i also bought 6 new fonts of alphabet stamps haha). I am going to photocopy it and mount it on some cards and mail it to pen pals.

anyways, i am feeling inspired. Note to the wise: on the bottom of every michaels receipt there is a coupon for 40% off your next item purchased. they have a short expiration, but if you remember its bomb considering that they mark stuff up so much there.
