wallpaper overload

I have been dead-set on wallpapering my hallway since I moved in, even though it isn't exactly the most ideal space for wallpaper. Up until now I have been unable to find something to suit exactly what I have envisioned, but now I have hit the jackpot!

Look at these unbelievable prints!

inspiration overload!

the whole bird thing is a little played out, but these gems are hand colored.

I must say, all these hand-screened papers are making me realize that I just need to do a little investigating, find out how to get some screens shot, and print my own paper. custom, cheaper, and just the DIY project I could use.

i can't find that wallpaper designer, unfortunately.. but you have found something similar to what i had seen anyway, it was birds with the antique cages. only it was on black printed with gold and white. it was really nice.

i think you should totally make your own wallpaper. that is something i am going to try for a project next year.. i want to print some wallpaper, and experiment with cutting through, revealing layers, etc. kind of like when you move somewhere old, and you can see a rip in the wallpaper that reveals another old one underneath, and another one under that? i love it.

I know that Sarah Richardson has used the last wallpaper for a project and it looked fantastic. I love wallpaper. Being in the industry, I see so many wonderful prints daily.
